Businesses and nonprofits are invited to attend the 2025 Wayne County Legislative Business Council Legislative Breakfast. The event gives those in attendance a chance to network and learn while enjoying a delicious and hearty breakfast catered by Wayne County School’s Steady Work program.
This year, the theme will be focused on how to build a local workforce through the use of paid internships and apprenticeships. These opportunities will be aimed at filling blue collar and white collar positions. A panel of speakers will address the topic including: Jacqueline Tiermini from Finger Lakes Community College; Richard Turner, RTMA, Regional Sponsor of NYS Apprenticeship Program; Jeremy Hughes from Wayne County Community Schools, and Amy McConnville from Optimax Systems, Incorporated.
